I wouldn’t even be yo-yoing without Randy. We met in elementary school, and his fateful decision to buy some Astrojax at Walmart in 2003 led us directly to modern yo-yoing and created a butterfly effect that has landed us here, 23 years later 😅

I owe a lot to Randy, and a signature colorway of a yo-yo that was his idea in the first place is the least I can do. Randy suggested shrinking the Slappa to Bapezilla diameter on a whim, and inadvertently helped create one of my favorite yo-yos ever.

For colors we took inspiration from my (very well loved) prototype BPZL, which was Anti-Yo’s sequel to the Bapezilla produced by @onedropyoyos, and Randy’s go-to yo-yo for the last decade. The more muted green and blue look amazing on the Slap Jr, and we laser engraved Randy’s initials in the cup on one side of each yo-yo, so you can half swap to make a blank or a Double Randy Special.

I could write 100 pages about Randy and what he means to me as my oldest friend and yo-yo buddy. We spend years apart but always pick up right where we left off, and our yo-yo brains are intertwined in a way that feels like we’re brothers; there’s no one else I’d rather spend time trading tricks with. He has deserved a signature yo-yo for 20+ years and I’m honored to help make it happen. Hope you all love it as much as we do, Kutztown Crew 4 Life ❤️
